Welcome to the Independent Financial Solutions Group!

My name is Matt Dressel, and I'm proud to be the owner of this firm. Since 2009, I have been dedicated to helping individuals and businesses across eastern North Carolina and beyond achieve their financial goals.

At Independent Financial Solutions Group, I offer a comprehensive range of investment services, retirement accounts, and annuities tailored to meet the diverse needs of my clients. I believe that everyone—regardless of income—deserves access to quality financial solutions, which is why I do not impose a minimum investment requirement for my clients.

I leverage technology to provide a convenient, client-centered experience. In collaboration with Charles Schwab Advisor Services, my clients can easily access their accounts online or through their phones to track progress, update information, and e-sign documents. I also offer digital account openings for both new and existing clients, along with the option for video conference appointments.

In 2024, I successfully transitioned to a hybrid operational model, combining remote work with a physical workspace at Tidal Coworking in downtown Morehead City. Building on this success, I will be implementing a strategic initiative in July 2025 to discontinue my life and disability insurance products, as well as other commission-based offerings, to better focus on my core financial solutions.
